Important security notice
Once you send cryptocurrencies from Kriptomat, we will not be able to recover the funds. Please be aware that:
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible, and you may lose access to your funds if you send cryptocurrencies from Kriptomat to an external wallet address that is not under your control.
Sending cryptocurrencies to any third parties, such as trading platforms, investment managers, and brokers, may result in permanent loss of funds. This is because these institutions and individuals may be fraudulent and are exploiting the fact that crypto transactions are anonymous.
Sending cryptocurrencies to the wrong wallet address may result in permanent loss of your funds.
Sending cryptocurrencies from one protocol to another could result in a permanent loss of funds. (For example, you select BEP20 Network but are sending to the ERC20 wallet address).
Log in to your Kriptomat account and locate the cryptocurrency you want to send. In this example, we'll be sending Ethereum.
Now click the Send button. You may receive a pop-up message with some warnings. Read them carefully and tick the boxes if you understand and agree.
A new window will open. Here you can enter the recipient's Ethereum address. Make sure the address is correct. It's good practice to check at least the first and last few characters.
Also make sure you enter the correct address for the correct type of cryptocurrency. For example, don't send Ethereum to a Bitcoin wallet or vice versa. Additionally, make sure you're sending the coin on the correct network. Ask the recipient which network their address is on, and select that network.
Next, enter the amount you want to send. In this case, we'll be sending 20 euros worth. Here you can also see the miner fee and the total amount that will be sent.
Click the Preview Transaction button.
Now you can review the details. Double-check the recipient's address, the amount you're sending, and the fee.
You'll also receive an SMS on your mobile phone with a code that you'll need to enter in this field, or if you have Google Authenticator enabled, use the code from there.
Once you're completely certain that everything is correct, you can click the button to send your crypto. This action is final and cannot be reversed.
Now you can check the transaction status and see that it was successful. We can see the transaction time, fees, and total amount sent.
When sending cryptocurrencies, keep in mind that a transaction can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24 hours for the network to confirm.
