Overview

Starting April 30, 2026, Kriptomat will apply a monthly Inactive Account Administration Fee of €7.99 to accounts that have been inactive for an extended period.

This fee applies only to accounts that meet the inactivity criteria outlined below.

When is an account considered inactive?

Your account is considered inactive if no qualifying transaction has been completed for a continuous period of 12 months.

The 12-month period is calculated on a rolling basis, meaning your account status is assessed continuously.

✔️ What counts as activity?

The following actions will keep your account active:

  • Buying cryptocurrency

  • Selling cryptocurrency

  • Exchanging crypto

  • Using KriptoEarn

  • Using Intelligent Portfolios

❌ What does NOT count as activity?

These actions do not count toward activity:

  • EUR deposits or withdrawals

  • Crypto withdrawals

  • Holding assets without trading

  • Cancelled or failed transactions

  • System or internal account actions

How does the fee work?

  • A fee of €7.99 per month may be applied once your account becomes inactive

  • The fee is charged monthly until activity resumes or the balance is depleted

  • The fee is deducted from your available EUR balance

If there is not enough EUR available:

  • A small portion of your crypto assets may be converted to cover the fee

  • Conversion is done at the current market rate, using standard fees and processes

Important notes

  • The fee will never exceed your total account balance

  • If your balance is lower than €7.99, only the remaining balance will be charged

  • If your balance is fully used, your account may be closed in accordance with our Terms of Service

How to avoid the fee

Simply complete any qualifying transaction (such as a buy, sell, or exchange).
This will:

  • Reset your inactivity period

  • Keep your account active

  • Stop any future inactivity fees

Why is this fee applied?

The Inactive Account Administration Fee helps cover the ongoing costs of maintaining inactive accounts, including:

  • Security and safeguarding of assets

  • Compliance and regulatory obligations

  • Account maintenance and support
