How to Transfer Cryptocurrencies from Kriptomat to Kraken

Written by David

If you would like to transfer cryptocurrencies from your Kriptomat account to Kraken, you will first need to obtain a deposit address from Kraken and then use that address when creating a withdrawal from Kriptomat.

Before sending any cryptocurrency, always make sure that the cryptocurrency and network selected on Kriptomat match the cryptocurrency and network supported by Kraken.

Step 1: Find Your Deposit Address on Kraken

Log in to your Kraken account (https://www.kraken.com/kriptomat) and navigate to the Deposit section.

1. Select the cryptocurrency you want to receive

Click Deposit and choose the cryptocurrency you would like to transfer from Kriptomat.

2. Select the correct network

Some cryptocurrencies are available on multiple networks. Make sure the network selected in Kraken matches the network you will use when sending funds from Kriptomat.

Selecting the wrong network may result in delayed deposits or permanent loss of funds.

3. Confirm the deposit details

Kraken may ask you to confirm that you understand the deposit requirements before proceeding.

4. Copy your Kraken deposit address

Kraken will generate a deposit address for the selected cryptocurrency. Copy the address by clicking the Copy Address button.

Before sending funds, review the deposit details shown on this screen.

In particular, pay attention to:

  • The wallet address – this is the address you will enter in Kriptomat.

  • The network – make sure it matches the network you selected in Kriptomat.

  • The minimum deposit amount – deposits below this amount may not be credited to your Kraken account.

  • Any additional requirements or warnings displayed by Kraken.

⚠️ Some cryptocurrencies (such as XRP, XLM, or others) may require an additional memo, tag, or destination tag. If Kraken provides one, make sure to copy it as well and enter it during the withdrawal process on Kriptomat.

Step 2: Send Cryptocurrency from Kriptomat

Once you have copied your Kraken deposit address:

  1. Log in to your Kriptomat account.

  2. Open the wallet of the cryptocurrency you wish to send.

  3. Click Send.

  4. Review the Important Security Notice.

  5. Paste the deposit address copied from Kraken into the Recipient Address field.

  6. If Kraken provided a memo, tag, or destination tag, enter it in the corresponding field.

  7. Enter the amount you would like to send.

  8. Click Preview Transaction.

  9. Carefully review the transaction details.

  10. Complete the required security verification.

  11. Click Confirm and Send.
