How many times can I deposit funds in one single portfolio?
You can add funds to one single Intelligent Portfolio multiple times and at your convenience. There is no set time that you are allowed to add funds or a limit to the amount you add, unless you have set up an auto-investment.
I am trying to add funds to my portfolio, but the button is disabled. What can I do?
The most likely reason for the option to add more funds being disabled is that the Intelligent Portfolio is being rebalanced.
On the first day of each month, actions in the Intelligent Portfolios feature are temporarily disabled to allow the system to complete the necessary recalculations and rebalance the values.
Important note: Any portfolio with the ‘weekly’ label is rebalanced at the beginning of each week. (i.e., Capture Movers - Weekly).
This is usually re-enabled within a few hours; however, it can sometimes take up to 24 hours. If the action is disabled for more than 24 hours, please contact us at [email protected] or start a Live Chat with one of our Live Agents.
