To comply with regulations regarding the EU sanctions, Kriptomat is prohibited to provide crypto services to Russian customers.

The sanctions require that we enact “a full ban of the provision of crypto-asset wallet, account, or custody services to Russian persons and residents, regardless of the total value of those crypto-assets.”

How does this affect our customers?

If you are a Russian citizen, we, unfortunately, have to close your account.

You will need to transfer any remaining funds you have on your account to some other crypto wallet or withdraw funds to your verified bank account.

To prevent loss of funds, you must transfer fiat and crypto funds out of your account before 31 October 2022.

This is not a step we can perform for you – so please transfer them as soon as possible to avoid your funds being frozen until such time as sanctions are lifted.
