We are glad to inform you that it is now possible to DEPOSIT funds via your Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card via the Mobile App. 😊

The simplest and fastest way to top up your account is by depositing funds directly from your card. This is a great option if you don't feel like waiting for SEPA transfer to pass through the banking system. It allows you to deposit larger amounts of fiat funds, without having to make direct card purchases. The added bonus is that the limits are quite high!

How do I deposit funds directly with my card?

  1. Login to your Kriptomat Mobile App.

2. Select EUR Wallet.

3. Select Deposit.

4. Choose Euro as the currency you wish to deposit.

5. Select Credit Card as the deposit method.

6. Enter the amount you wish to deposit and select the card you wish to use or add a new one, by clicking this field:

7. Once you fill in all the details, press Deposit. On the next screen, you will need to confirm the transaction via the 3DS code.

8. Once you do that, and the transaction is approved, the funds will appear in your EUR wallet and you may use them to buy Crypto.

What are the limits for a Card deposit?

The Card deposit limit depends on several factors and there are 4 levels of limits.


Daily Limit

Monthly limit

Initial - Newly registered Customers.

500 EUR

5,000 EUR

Beginner - 14 days after 1st Card purchase

2,500 EUR

15,000 EUR

Intermediate -

After passing the EDD Check.

5,000 EUR

50,000 EUR

Advanced - After passing additional checks*

15,000 EUR

150,000 EUR

*The type of additional checks is determined by the Compliance team and may vary depending on your Country and other factors.
