How to make a SEPA bank deposit via the Mobile App?

Everything you need to know about depositing funds to Kriptomat.

Important note: You can make a deposit only after you have successfully finished the identity verification process (KYC).

To make a deposit:

1. Login to your Kriptomat account.

2. Choose your Euro balance.

3. Click on Deposit.

4. Choose a SEPA bank deposit.

5. You will see all the necessary SEPA payment details, including data about the transfer and the recipient.

IMPORTANT: This is also where you can see your Reference number. Please include this number in your deposit.

6. Using the data provided in the previous step, make the actual deposit via your bank account. While doing this, please make sure that the payment is made from the bank account that is held in your name (the name of the owner of the bank account has to be the same as the name of your Kriptomat account). We don’t accept third-party deposits.

7. Click I made the deposit.

And that is it! 😊

Tips on how to make a successful SEPA bank deposit:

  • Make sure you are the owner of the bank account you will be sending funds from (the name on the bank account must match the name of the Kriptomat account owner).

  • Make sure you have included the Reference number (the code starting with RF in red color). Kindly be advised that if you forget the Reference number while making the deposit we will not be able to match this deposit with your Kriptomat account.

  • Kindly, make sure you have written correctly the beneficiary address and bank’s address (these 2 addresses are different and clearly stated among the Payment details).

  • Have in mind that 3rd party deposits may be rejected automatically and sent back to the original bank account, or you may be asked for proof of joint-account ownership.

  • Feel free to write letters O, U, A instead of Ö, Ü, Ä everywhere where needed, the bank will be able to accept it. (For example: write FintechX OU, instead of FintechX OÜ).

  • You can make payment in EUR only, other currencies, such as GBP are not accepted.

Please note: SEPA bank transfers can take up to 5 business days, although they are usually done in 1-2 business days. You will receive an email and an SMS notification once the funds become available on your Kriptomat balance.

  • Once your first deposit is credited to your account your bank account will be verified and added to your Kriptomat account automatically. Please, understand this is the only way to add a bank account to Kirptomat.

  • For each SEPA deposit, the bank transaction fee will be applied, depending on the selected deposit method available in your country.

  • At the moment only accepted Fiat currency at Kriptomat is EUR, please make sure to make a deposit in EUR.

  • Fast, Urgent, Tele2 transaction - we accept only regular SEPA transactions. If you use additional options such as fast, urgent, and tele2 there is a chance your transactions will be returned to you.
