Connecting your Web3 wallet and accessing the world of Web3 has never been easier!

In this manual, we will show how easy is to get access to OpenSea and similar Web3 markets.

So let's dive in!

How do I connect my Web3 wallet to different markets?

Our Web3 wallet uses "WalletConnect" technology which is a fast and secure way to access Web3. In this manual, we will use OpenSea as an example to show how you can connect your wallet to it, however, you can access any Web3 market that supports "WalletConnect" in a similar way.

Here is how to connect to OpenSea:

  1. Open the Web3 market you wish to connect to and select the option to connect your wallet.

  2. Choose "WalletConnect".

  3. A scalable QR code will appear.

  4. Login to your Kriptomat Mobile App.

  5. Go to the account menu.

  6. Select Web3.

  7. Select the "Connect" icon.

  8. Scan the QR code of your Web3 market.

  9. In-App authorize this connection, by confirming it.

  10. Once you authorize this connection your Kriptomat wallet is connected to the Web3 market and you can buy NFTs for example, on this Web3 market, and pay directly from your Web3 wallet. You will see the balance of your Kriptomat Web3 wallet on the Web3 market app that you have connected to and be able to use it as a means of payment to buy, in our example, NFTs.

    That is it!

    Now you have successfully connected to the Web3 market and you are ready to buy Web3 goodies, in the simplest way on the market.

Possible reasons why your connection failed:

  • The generated QR code on the Web3 market you are trying to connect to was already used - generate a new code by closing the existing one, reloading the page, and opening the QR code again.

  • You did not confirm the connection in time - the connection confirmation is time sensitive, and you will see the ticker in Kriptomat App, if you did not confirm the connection in 30 seconds, simply try connecting the wallet again and confirm it before time expires.

  • Your internet connection is unstable or you are using VPN.
