Normally, Instant SEPA deposits are processed within a few moments, however, occasionally they can end up in pending/processing or failed status.

Here is the list of the most common reasons behind this.

📃✅ Instant SEPA deposit “In review “

If your deposit has a pending status, this means that our team is conducting some routine checks.

You need to check your email inbox, as you were most likely contacted by our Payments team and provided more information.

These kinds of checks are routine checks necessary to ensure safe trading space, usually, they are conducted in a short time, hence there is no reason for concern.

🏦⏳ Processing Instant SEPA deposit

If your deposit has a processing status, this means that your bank is still processing it and that it still did not reach us. This may happen due to various reasons such as the increased volume of deposits your bank is processing at the time being, additional checks conducted by the bank, or system maintenance on your bank’s end.

All you need to do is sit back and relax, as as soon as the deposit is processed you will be notified. 😊

⛔ Failed Instant SEPA deposit

This means that your deposit has failed, the reasons could be various and the most common ones are:

  • Bank rejected this payment.

  • Insufficient funds in your bank account.

  • Lower transferring limits in your bank account, that amount you wanted to deposit.

  • Internal bank rules/restrictions

  • Other reasons

In this case, we suggest you contact your bank, as the transaction was canceled on their end.

❌ Canceled Instant SEPA deposit

If you see this message, this means that either you canceled this deposit, or closed your banking app/Kriptomat App before confirming the transfer.

You can initiate the transfer again and make sure to confirm it, before closing the window.
